1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is Clayd, s.r.o., Panenská 3, 811 03 Bratislava - mestská časť Ružinov, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 55750982, registered in the Business Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III (Obchodný register Mestského súdu Bratislava III), Section Sro, File No. 172636/B ("we"). You can reach us about anything in this policy at clayd-sro@proton.me.

We process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.

2. What data we collect and why

  • Contact forms: your first and last name, email address, phone number and message. We use them to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).
  • Enquiries about an advertisement: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your message and the advertisement concerned. We use them to deal with your enquiry and to put you in touch with the provider. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running this service (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Requests to list a company: company name, website, email address and company description. We use them to assess and handle your request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Reviews: your first and last name, your rating and your review. Your name, rating and review are shown publicly on the website once published. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing other visitors useful reviews (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can ask us to remove your review at any time.
  • Visiting the website: technical data such as your IP address and browser details, which are processed to deliver and protect the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You do not have to give us this data, but we cannot reply to you or handle your request or review without it. We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.

3. Who receives your data

  • Service providers working for us: our website hosting provider.
  • The provider you ask about: when you send an enquiry about an advertisement, we receive it first and may pass it to that provider so that they can answer you. The provider then handles your data as a separate controller.
  • Other visitors: see published reviews.
  • Public authorities: where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Outside services used by our pages

Our pages load fonts and code from outside services. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address and browser details:

  • Google Fonts (fonts)
  • Bootstrap CDN, cdnjs and the jQuery CDN (website code)

Some of these services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Our Facebook and Instagram icons and the map link on our contact page are plain links. Those companies only receive data from you if you click through to their sites.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact messages and enquiries: until your enquiry has been dealt with and any follow-up is finished.
  • Requests to list a company, and data on providers: for as long as the listing or our business relationship continues. Invoices are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
  • Reviews: for as long as the review is published on the website, or until you ask us to remove it.

We may keep data for longer where the law requires it or where we need it to deal with a legal claim.

6. Cookies

We use one cookie of our own, a session cookie (PHPSESSID). It is needed for the website to work and is deleted when you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary, it does not need your consent. We do not use our own analytics or advertising cookies.

The outside services listed in section 4 may set cookies of their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the website may then stop working.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased, or its processing restricted;
  • receive your data in a portable format, where this applies;
  • object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting earlier processing.

To use any of these rights, email clayd-sro@proton.me. We will reply within one month.

You can also complain to the supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
